Children's Ministry
A Children's Ministry Group is seeking to find the way forward for all our children's work from creche age to youth group and all in between. This group has been meeting since the autumn and has visited other churches to look at their young people's work and is currently evaluating a number of programmes for suitability and effectiveness in St Margaret's in anticipation of increasing numbers of children. Resourcing and staffing this vital work is another area under discussion.
A 'Making Space' project team is investigating the possibility of a stand-alone building to meet the needs of our expanding junior church, within the extended churchyard. Discussions with the wider village community and the Local Authority have encouraged us to pursue this course.
