Apart from at Lent when all the groups follow the same course, it is up to the group how they spend their time but it would normally consist of time to catch up socially, prayer, bible reflection, and consideration of a contemporary issue.
Our home groups also help with our Sunday worship, welcoming people, reading at services and preparing intercessions - but this is entirely optional.
