If you do not live within the parish then you may wish to consider your parish church first. Legally those wanting to be married at St Margaret's who live outside the parish will need to become a regular worshipper for over six months in order to join our electoral roll.

Here may be a particular reason why you want to be married at St Margaret's such as having worshipped there as a child or your parents live in the parish.

If you have such a long-standing connection with this Church then it may be possible to marry here but it may need a special licence.

Do we have to be practising Christians?
No, but we would expect you both to join in with services in the lead up to your wedding and hopefully afterwards as well.
